Home & Embodied Space
where a multicultural, East meets West heritage finds its way home.
The Energetic Imprint of Space.
I have always noticed rooms the way other people notice faces.
Before I know what a space contains, I know what it holds, whether it settles the shoulders or makes them raise in tension, whether it was arranged in a hurry or with care, whether anyone has ever sat quietly in it and simply looked.
This isn't new to me. Long before I trained as a therapist, I was rearranging furniture (and cutting holes in tablecloths) as a child in Hong Kong, certain that a room could be wrong in the same way a mood could be wrong, and that both could be gently coaxed right again. I studied interior design before I studied the body. I have spent years since learning that the two were never really separate. Both an energetic blueprint, an expression of a person’s soul.
What I bring to a room now is not a single tradition but several, held at once, shaped by a lineage that bridges cultures, never asked me to choose or lean into one. An instinct, inherited from a long line of makers, placing objects that carry the hands that made them, and creating a home that is really just a body you can walk into.
If you've ever walked into a room and felt something shift in your chest before you understood why, you already know exactly what I mean.
As I tenderly explore the offerings that I would like to share, I invite you to spend a little time on my pinterest page which is bursting with inspiration and holds the energy of self expression, authenticity and of embodied living.
